Dr. Kelly April 9Th & Questions

Recommended Posts

Hi there...long time lurker, first time poster!

I finally scheduled my surgery with Dr. Kelly. So far so good. Ana has coordinated my surgery and has answered my questions soooo fast.

My question is about a passport. I was so excited to schedule my surgery I completely forgot about a passport. Will I absolutely need one to go down there? I am not sure I can even get a rush one at this point.

I'll post my experience after my surgery.

I was told by my coordinator that I absolutely had to have a passport or a passport card. You can look on the passport website and call the customer service number and ask.

I didn't have mine. I was told also by my coordinator that I could just use my birth certificate. I crossed the boarder with my driver's license and my birth certificate. (the BC was the official one - that was embossed). I had no problems crossing back into the US.

Hello...I am in the same boat...April 9 with Dr. Kelly. I applied for my passport 2.5 weeks ago, and they obviously have my birth certificate. Hope to get it in time...I am going either way. Today I called the Department of State and paid $12.00 extra to have it overnighted...there was no option of putting a rush on it at this point.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
