3 Weeka Out Pureed Food. I Am Afraid I Am Eating Too Much.

Recommended Posts

I feel like the volume of the amount of Soup has gone up and liquids at one time. I can finish a whole Protein Drink in 10 mins. I am afraid I am doing something wrong.is it okay for me to be able to drink more at this point? I don't want to do damage to sleeve or stretch it out.

I am three weeks out too (purée/ soft foods) and so can I. Sometimes I can drink my Protein 8oz fast (15mins) and sometimes I can't it varies. The other day I was out with my family ( they are visiting) we went to a Chinese restuarant and I had two small pieces of pepper steak, it was really soft and I chewed it over and over. I probably shouldn't have but I went unprepared. I didn't throw up though or felt sick. I felt sick when I had moist chicken breast but thigh meat went down just fine. I can eat baby bel cheese but mozerella cheese sticks feel stuck no matter how much I chew.

I told my nutritionist that I can eat a lot more Soup than anything else, and she said that's normal because it's mostly liquid. I am still eating only about 1/4 cup of other foods.

Sleeve does not stretch. The swelling will go down and you will be able to eat a little more. They removed the stretchy part. As the nuse said, liquids go right through. Wait until you try dense Protein. You will feel the restriction.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
