2 Days Pre Op Praying To Go Home Today

Surgery day I felt wonderful, yesterday morning awesome. Narcotics wore off felt like I've been tossed around the inside of a dryer. Lesson one sit completely up when drinking or it feels like needles going down. They decided to keep me another day. I had awful heartburn my doc says this is normal. On top of that I had these horrible stomach spasms. Not sure if that is the name for it but every once in awhile it hit almost like a contraction. Again my doc not worried. Anyone else experience this? On a good note so far im only on one insulin. Hopefully it will stay that way.

At this point I just want to go home and sleep it off. You get absolutely no sleep in the hospital! Im cranky if you can't tell and can't wait to feel just a little better

So true! Stick your chest out. I had to stay an additional day as well, but what a difference that day made. I left the hospital feeling fantastic!

so glad u r doing well. i have 6 more days. i am reading like crazy to see what i should expect after surgery, need to write all this down so i know what to do,

I was like you good the first day, and the second day the meds were wearing off, that was my worst day. I am 4 days post-0p and feel pretty good, gas pains every now and then.
