  1. Also, the Jillian thirty day shred, does it really help shred? Do you work up a sweat with it?
  2. Thanks for all the replies, appreciate it. I am late getting back due to work/school/family. I have a lot of older work out tapes, and I did buy a Jillian Michaels one, I will try that one. I have dumbells, bands, just wanted a video other than my old ones. I want to see results.

  4. Its been a while since I posted, because I started working in August. I work with children, so my job is active. However, I noticed a little weight gain since I started working. No, I have not been to the gym that much. I am in school/college, and my time is pretty much consumed. I can do an at home work out, any suggestions on ones that really show results? I have always worked out when I was a stay at home mom, but working is throwing me a bit.
  5. To me nothing like labor pains, I would take a gastric sleeve op anyday. It did not hurt as much as I thought it would, and I am a big cry baby.
  6. Hi, I need to know how to load pictures within my posts, and also how to add my info on my profile. The before and after pic and doc info?
  7. I was able to post my pictures under recent photos, you can view them there. I am having a hard time posting them on here.
  8. Hi, I am almost six months post op, and the first picture is my weight gain after lap band, and the second is after gastric sleeve surgery. Size 16 to 12/ 10.
  9. Yes, an itch burn, and little pain. Okay, I feel a little better now, I was thinking an infection was getting started. I started working out a little more streneous too. That might have added to the discomfort.
  10. Hi, everyone. I had my surgery in February, I am almost 6 months out. However, I have been having some slight incision pain at the top incision, it has closed up well. There is nothing oozing from it or anything, but I just started having pain there. It feels like the lap band nagging little pain, where the port was. I had no pain until now. It does not hurt all the time but sometimes. Has anyone experienced this so far out? I will go see my doc Monday.
  11. I had an appointment with my doctor today. 10 weeks post op, started at 230, today I was 188. I am continuing to eat good. It is hard firguring out what to eat at times, but I am steadily growing and making healthy choices. My goal is 170, I expect to be there soon. I am pretty thin at 170 (8-10) in sizes, 5'9" Looking forward to staying healthy.
  12. I am taking Nexium, it works best for me. Dr. prescribed, nothing else over the counter worked for me.
  13. Hi, every doctor is different. I was told once I got home to start on full liquids. I only had regular liquids in the hospital. Stick to what your doc says. I am two months post op and I can bearly eat early in the morning, but when I can its greek yogurt or soft eggs. You will make it through the liquid phase. Blessings.
  14. God is good, and he gets all the glory. Be encouraged even the more in the Lord.
  15. I know what you mean by the "visitor", same thing here. That is one reason I stay off.
  16. I rarely get on the scale, because the scale can be discouraging. However, my clothes are falling off of me, that is how I know that I am losing. I bought a pair of capri pants in a size 12, and they fit for minute. I told myself, I know that this 12 is not loose, and they sure were, on my way to a size 10. Wow, I am shrinking, and I am excited. Went walking about 2 miles today and it felt great! I don't know whether I am stalling or not, I stay off the scale until I know that I have went down a size.
  17. Thank you for your response. That sounds like a good idea. After 3 months I will try that.
  18. Thanks for all responses and suggestions. I will definitely wait until around 3 months, before I buy new clothes. Then I will buy a little at a time, probably will need more tops than bottoms. I am down to a Large in shirts.
  19. Thanks for your response. If I was still in Atlanta, yes you could find sales similiar to that. In South Carolina, no sales like that here. Goodwill does have a military discount day. However, I hunt down the cheaper stores. Thrift hunter.
  20. Thank you for your response, yes, it feels good to go to the thrift and buy things for yourself. I love vintage clothes. My mom taught me how to shop at thrift stores, been doing it since I was a teenager. I love Macy's clearance racks, truly you can get some good deals off the clearance racks at department stores.
  21. Thank you for your response. I am thinking 3 months. I am very cheap when it comes to buying clothes, I am an ebay seller, and I am a thrift queen. I love to dress for less. I will wait until things start to fall off like you did. Wearing a good belt keeps my jeans up, they are baggy though. I am adjusting.
