I am taking Nexium, it works best for me. Dr. prescribed, nothing else over the counter worked for me.

Prescription- Prevacid , 2x a day. And I don't skip it!

I take Dexilant prescribed by my doctor. It does get better with time. I started taking everyday after surgery but now I only take two per week. When I feel it coming on I sip water and sometimes that helps. Also avoid foods that can cause it. (coffee - chocolate - peanuts) Your body will tell you what foods cause the most reflux. Hang in there.

Nexium once a day does the trick cant live without it!

Best thing I used was generic Prilosec. I used two or three different things before I found one that did the trick. You need a PPI, not an antacid! You'll be in pain if you don't get the acid under control.
