  1. I have been losing my hair for the past 3 months, tg I have lots of it, seems to be slowing down, then wham hands full coming out again, i think I need more protein, url=http://www.verticalsleevetalk.com][/url]
  2. Kat have you written or contacted the Dr. That did the surgery, to let him know what you have to go thru now, maybe there can be some compensation, for you. He should know how the care after has affected you. You have the proof to send him from your Dr now. Think of you every day so sorry u have to go thru this,,
  3. have u tried putting strawberries in the chocolate, or any type of fruit in the vanilla, even a tbsp of peanut butter. i sometime put a small container of yogurt in it too
  4. how is everyone doing, i am doing good. Have loads of energy, golfing on the weekends, my mid section gets a work out, feels kind of weird sometime. food intake is getting better, but still anywhere from 600- 800 calories, try to get more in but there is no way i can. past few weeks the weight loss has been only 1 lb a week today a grand total of 5 for the week, down 45 lbs but i am very happy with my progress, inches are coming off nicely, my size 14 is actually getting loose, which is ok, some friends have commented, but what is a sad thing is good friends have not said a word, i have only told a few people about the surgery. hope u all are dong great
  5. Do not forget to check sodium in what you eat, sausage usually has high sodium. This is why I eat fat free ham, sodium will hold the Water, so check that out too. I started eating the oatmeal 3 rd week in, it is soft,, so was told it would be fine. Do not eat much of it, 1/4 of a bowl fills me.
  6. Have u tried switching up food, I was on stall for 1 week, decided to switch it up by oatmeal with yogurt for Breakfast twice a week, 1 egg with 1 oz of cheese, 1 day, the other days Protein shake with fruit. lunch salad, with chicken or ff ham. Or cottage cheese with fruit or protein, Supper protein salad or broccoli/ cauliflower. This seemed to help lost 2 lbs, after that 1week stall, Do not forget take your measurements sometimes that scale is not our friend, inches are just as important. I had my surgery march 8 down 33 lbs, 16 inches from a size 20 to a 14 already. I get on the scale everyday, only because I know this will keep me on track, it also helps me plan on my meals during the day, but this is not for everyone, some need to only get on that scale once a week, and measure yourself once aweek The stall will end, you will lose loads of weight
  7. I went to dr Lopez corvala in tiajuana, 7000. The care was absolutely awesome, you have your own nurse, he comes to explain everything to u, it was the most fabulous experience, plus after care u can call them anytime with questions
  8. I had my surgery on march 8, I am down 31 lb , today I fit into my size 14 capris, end of January I was size 20, so I am very happy, although I have not lost any weight in past week, I guess the stall has happened, but as long as inches keep coming off, I will be happy, as for people not noticing for you, have u told anyone? Maybe they just do not want to say anything right now. This week I was with a friend that I have not seen since January, and she was what the H, have u been doing, she was amazed at the way I look, that brought me joy, so chin up, u r doing great, they will notice, if they have not already, Great job we r only 1 day apart
  9. How do u update the calculator?...
  10. Congrats glad to hear all is ok, as for the leg I had the same in my right leg like someone froze it an the freezing was coming out , now it is just the right thigh, went to dr, he said to get the leg massaged, have not done that yet, but it is getting better, comes and goes, Walk, follow the regime for food, on 4th week and down 31 lbs and 16 inches, the other day I tried on my 14 capris and cried they fit, a little snug, but they fit,
  11. Take Vitamins I am taking flint stones they just melt in mouth. I have started to eat chicken, salmon, tuna, broccoli, peas, potato, I even had a 1/4 toasted ham sandwich today, chew chew chew, that is the key, example of what I eat in a day, Breakfast shake, lunch, cottage cheese, fruit, or Soup creamy, or-yogurt/ fruit, probably 4 oz max Supper chicken 3oz, or tuna 4tbsp, or salmon 4oz, with a veggie peas 2tsp broccoli 2 tsp, potato maybe 1 baby spoon, I do not snack I am not hungry so I between meals drink Water, although maybe I get down 25 oz, not much I know but slowly increasing. I made this great pattie the other nite, 2 cups broccoli 1 fillet of salmon 1/4 cup shredded cheese 1or 2 eggs 1/4 c red onion Put all in food processor, till chopped, then spray muffin tin with Pam, 1 heaping tbsp of mixture in muffin tin. Cook 350 for 20 mins, 1 was enough I was full, great to have handy in fridge or freezer, Could use chicken tuna ham or a different veggie like cauliflower ,,,,, After 3 weeks I am down 27.7 lbs and 10 inches
  12. i gained also with the IV 10 lbs but within 6 days i was back to normal and additional 16 lbs off, so 26 lost since surgery, try a heating pad, that helps with the gas. also walk walk even just for 5 mins, that helps also, i paced around my island in the kitchen about 15-20 times, try drinking green tea, water, your shakes, broth still has salt in it, so slow down with that 2 oz, the most, also try gatorade recover that has protein in it, gl
