  2. how is everyone doing, i am doing good. Have loads of energy, golfing on the weekends, my mid section gets a work out, feels kind of weird sometime. food intake is getting better, but still anywhere from 600- 800 calories, try to get more in but there is no way i can. past few weeks the weight loss has been only 1 lb a week today a grand total of 5 for the week, down 45 lbs but i am very happy with my progress, inches are coming off nicely, my size 14 is actually getting loose, which is ok, some friends have commented, but what is a sad thing is good friends have not said a word, i have only told a few people about the surgery. hope u all are dong great
  3. I went to dr Lopez corvala in tiajuana, 7000. The care was absolutely awesome, you have your own nurse, he comes to explain everything to u, it was the most fabulous experience, plus after care u can call them anytime with questions

  7. I had surgey on the 8 th, an been going since that nite, very regular, I would try green tea, broth, if not should happen by Friday I would go see the dr.
  8. Look at it this way 45 lbs is fantastic, Rome was not built in a day, sometimes we concentrate on the weight to much and forget about the inches, with being a yoyo since I was 30 , I have learnt the scale is not always our friend, inches are a big thing also, chin up it will come off, patience, like some said change it up, a tad, it is just your body saying let me catch up with your plan.
  9. Best of luck had mine on the 8 th, no pain some discomfort, hubby can eat in front of me and I have no urges to eat at all , it does look good but just not hungry. Since I have been home on the treadmill for 30 mins a day, and believe me walking helps the gas affected my upper back, but the walking helped barely any pain now. Gl
  10. ty for this info, yea my hubby just wants to make sure that everything is in place once we r home, i will have to look to see if up here we have unjury powder, i need to get some protein powder for sure,,
  11. i am so glad u r ok, i am sure it will pass and soon, any surgery takes time for your body to adjust, so hang in there, and take it easy rest.
  12. i personally would stay in the hospital, but that is me, i just feel if by chance something should go wrong, faster response, everything is there that you may need, also cleanliness, not saying that clinics are not sterile, I guess it all depends what u r comfortable with, also the old saying you get what u pay for, sometime the least is not always better, just do your homework on what you decide , i have 6 days to go and getting nervous,,
  13. so glad u r doing well. i have 6 more days. i am reading like crazy to see what i should expect after surgery, need to write all this down so i know what to do,
  14. yes keep us posted all will be fine just noticed there is no hugs on this at least not on mine so sending u a big hug
  15. go to the hospital, can not fool around with dehydration.....
  16. what i have started to do and have in the past is 2 lb weight bars(can of soup works too), while watching tv, or when u r sitting, just do the curls with the bars, overtime it will tighten up, once i started walking lots, i took the bars with me on the walk and this also helped with the bat wings, i also bought ankle weights, while sitting u can use also just by lifting your legs,
  17. so we need broth beef or chick i assume low sodium, Protein shakes how many carbs, etc ?, i was also told to buy gatorade 3, hard to find up here, we can drink tea green or reg. ?, i have 1 cup of coffee in the morning, that is it, do not drink much caffeine at all. what about crystal light to mix in the Water. i know my hubby is like we need to go shopping so i have everything when we get home, that is starting to stress me, , like so many of you i hate wasting money on something i may not like,
  18. Yep for sure to get back up,, n more then likely to go down although I know of someone that did not need to show hers going down but coming back up they asked to see it
  19. Mine is next week, and yea doing the same, should I do this, will I be ok, etc etc, so obviously very normal since we are all experiencing it. Very very gl, and cannot wait for the posts that we all did great on the road to a healthier us.
