  2. i have only told 3 friends, just because i had to tell someone, lol. my hubby of course knows, i am not telling anyone else, i do not want any negative feed back, nor do i want to hear oh u have lost before then gained it back, once i have the surgery and the skinny me comes out if anyone asks all i am going to say is lifestyle change, try it.
  3. Gl. Keep us posted, u will do great
  4. I have read lots in here, so either I missed it or it is not there. Fruit, no one mentions this, have people put it in their shakes, had as snack, which ones gave complications, which ones r the best Ty for any feedbac
  5. I agree no matter what u have as a tool u have to re train yourself on eating well and exercise. pizza maybe 1slice every 2 months as a treat, but then again u get the taste of bad food head goes I have her now, leads to other bad foods. By the sounds of it u have no close support to give u the encouragement to go down the right path, u need support is there no support group where u r, family, friends to keep u on the right track. Before looking at anymore surgery u have to believe u can do this. I wish u the best of luck

  10. i agree as a yoyo person myself, it was hard, and then more depressing when you gained it back, and usually gained more then when you started to lose the first, second , third time, when u got to your goal, your thought process is oh i can have a little of this and that, before you know it you are back to square 1. I agree it is your decision and only you know if you can maintain on own after the loss, i wish you the best of luck
  11. just would be nice to know if we wanted we could, i probably will stick to water till i reach my goal,, but mind over matter if told we can not, then what happens , we want, have to look at big picture the thinner newer us,
  12. i was just thinking this myself, wondering hmmm, can we have a drink or 2, i am the same very social drinker, mostly in summer at the lake, i know we are to stay away from fizzy drinks, but a nice wine would be nice.
  13. wtg, great feeling, after years of losing and gaining, sometimes the # of lbs does not matter, as long as those inches come off. can not wait till i post that i am a 16 again, keep up the good work

  19. l live in saskatoon, i am going March 7th, surgery March 8th, Dr Garcia is my surgeon, i have no fear of a missing anything other then a smaller stomach. lol my neighbour went the end of january, she also had her surgery done by Dr garcia, she is doing great, which makes it even more reassuring that everything will be ok, my only concern is have a low tolerance to pain, but she says she had none after hers. gl
  20. yea COUNTING and getting nervous, i just hope surgery is first thing, so i do not have to wait all day lol,
  21. I was told to take, nitegown, housecoat, and very loose fitting jogging pants, with a loose shirt, also some pads, incase of an accident , i think i will just wear home a loose fitting dress, that way nothing will rub against the small incisions. gl, i am scheduled for march 8 2012..
