  1. That's good to know. I ask very close to goal. I go to the doctor on Monday. I've been eating really well and I don't feel bad at all. I get the occasional nausea but thanks to my sleeve I can handle it. Haven't gained any weight except around my tummy and my breast are swelling. Have to admit that I was not so happy when I found out I was pregnant. I was using protection and my boys are 14 & 16. After reading ask the post on this forum of women who are waiting to get pregnant I realize how much a blessing this is. Please keep me in your prayers. My other two pregnancies were really easy. Of course I was a lot younger and didn't have surgery. Now I am praying for a healthy baby.
  2. Thank you feeling great. Go to the doctor on Monday will update
  3. I'm six months out also and just found out I'm pregnant. How are you feeling? Has the doctor freaked you out with worry?
  4. I'm 40 and just found out I'm pregnant. I'm seven months post op 20 pounds away from my goal weight. I have two boys 14 & 16 this definitely was not planned but I'm not unhappy about it. I'm freaking out about all the things that can go wrong. Praying that I will be able to give this baby all it,needs. So pray for me!!
  5. Just reading your post and wonder how old you guys are? I'm 40 and just found out I'm pregnant. I'm six months almost seven months post op and twenty pounds away from my goal weight. I'm scared to death this wasn't planned but now that I'm pregnant I want the baby to be healthy. So have you guys still exercised anything you need to eat more of.
  6. I will definitely keep you guys updated. This forum helped me so much at the time of my surgery. While you have friends and family to talk to its so much better to talk to people who have gone through the same thing.
  7. Thanks guys. I am a nervous mess and these stories are making me feel so much better. I have two boys who I know will be great big brothers. Just worried about the babys health.
  8. Can't believe I am pregnant. Definitely wasn't planned and I'm freaking out. I am 20 pounds from my weight goal. I'm really healthy not on any medications. Going to the doctor in two weeks. My youngest son is 14. I am so worried this baby won't make it to term. I would appreciate any positive advice or stories. No negative stories please I have enough negative thoughts going in my head.
  9. 194 GW 185 Scale is moving again after a one month stall. I can run 1/2 mile. Almost to my goals. I love my sleeve!!
  10. SW 202 GW 185 Today's weight 197 thank God I've been stalled at 202 for about five weeks talk about getting frustrated. I am finally in the 100s and the best part is I never plan to hit the 200s again. I love my sleeve!!!!!
  11. Has anyone ever had a body wrap? If so does it really help tighten the skin?
  12. That does help i'm going to buy some bars today and have my SUV hide the scale for awhile. I've become obsessed with it.
  13. I think that may be my problem also. I've been on a really long stall. I'm getting in a lot of exercise but not losing. I'm going to try to bump up my calories and see if that helps.
  14. I'm in SW 202 GW 175 Run a mile I can jog .25 without stopping hoping to get to a mile Increase my calories to 1000 Put the scale away I'm on the longest stall ever can't wait for it to end. Starting to think it might not
  15. I also craved them. I strained clam chowder and it was wonderful. It was really filling and tasted great.
  16. I am four months out and I swim laps a couple times a week. I havnt had any hair loss yet. I have locs so I'm not sure how much I will notice. The nurse told me to tell the surgeon I was worried about nausea and they put something in my IV. For the people on liquids I loved my sugar free Popsicle it gave me a chance to chew. I ate them so much that I can't stand the thought of them now.
  17. If you can sleep in a recliner it helped a, lot for me. Also know that the process takes time. You see alot of people complaining on this page. Be prepared for stalls and some discomfort. On a good note the sleeve is the perfect tool to get your health together if you work the program. Good luck and keep us updated on your progress.
  18. It gets better when you are able to use other sources of protein. I hated the shakes but will add some powder to my yogurt. It's a learning process that's different for everyone. I am a single mom with two boys and a full time job. I had to make myself get in a routine. first thing every morning I take my vitamins before anything else. The mornings I do anything else I forget. I even set reminders on my phone and log still my foods on my phone. Eventually it becomes second nature. It may take awhile to get they but if you keep trying it will be like brushing your teeth. At first it was really hard but once I started losing it became my motivation to do the right things. Most of us mess up or struggle at first but it gets better with time. Good luck
  19. Just wondering what work best for you? I'm swimming laps and also am walking/jogging six days a week for at least 60 minutes. What do you think worked best to tone your legs???
  20. My doctor said once you get to the 100s either you will go into a long stall or lose weight rapidly. Just curious if anyone else has ever heard this or experienced. I've been at 202/201 for a couple of Weeks. I'm not really frustrated cause I feel great and the clothes are falling off. Just wondering how long your longest stall was? I'm exercising every day but right now trying to increase the calories hopefully that will make a difference.....
  21. Just wondering if anyone has teen sons and how they acted after you started losing weight. I have a 14 n 16 year old and my oldest son is acting really protective. He is noticing guys checking me out. It's like he just figured I'm not just a mom lol.
  22. I completely understand my dad is a diabetic and my mom is a breast cancer survivor. That's why when everyone asked about getting sick from my sleeve I responded can it be any worse then kidney failure? That's the way my diabetes was going. I see most people left the hospital off of their medications. When I left the hospital I had numbers in the 200s. I was also on two different insulins so it feels so great not to have to take anything. I know the diabetes will always be there but my sleeve makes eating so much easier. Good luck everyone
