Haven't been on in awhile being a single mom who works full time and with exercise there seems to be no time left in the day. Ok my question just recently I've been hit with the worst nausea. Even the thought of food makes me feel sick and i have to force myself to eat. I even resorted to taking the nausea pills i got post op but they don't seem to help. I feel like my mouth is filled with thick saliva YUCK!!!! I'm going to call the doc on monday to see if they can prescribe something. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this????- Looking For February Sleever Buddies

I'm five weeks out and remember that feeling of needing to chew. SF popsicles were and still are one of my favorites treats but during those first couple of weeks I couldnt survive without them. I also would strain clam chowder after the first two weeks. It was nice and filling. Go to the store and buy SF pops. Tropical flavor are to die for my boys even love them- Day 7- Sweaty?
My temp was all over the place but now six weeks out I feel normal. I did have a horrible underarm smell that my doctor said was normal yuck.- Damn Easter Candy
No candy in my house this year. My boys are 14 & 16. Funny thing is my boys aren't really into sweets. Thankfully that is something I didn't pass down to them. Now post sleeve I realize I would be the one eating most of their candy. This is the first year I didn't buy candy for me put it in their baskets lol lol.- I Wasnt Expecting To Be In This Much Pain...

Just checking in on my fellow leap day sleevers. How is everyone doing? I am down 22 pounds not a, lot. I feel great. Eating is getting easier. Still having a rough time getting all my protein and water in but its getting better. Biggest challenge right now is knowing when to stop eating. Being full feeds horrible. How's everyone else doing?- Help! Grazing!
I also graze but on healthy food. For example at work I may nibble on my lunch for a couple of hours. Not sure if this is good but it seems to be working for me. I can only eat small amounts and hate the feeling of being full so I eat a, little at a time. Cheese seems to be my favorite.- Nsv Jogged .25 Miles Today

Thanks guys!!! Going to ask for clarification on the straw question when I have my appointment next week.- What May Seem Like Dumb Questions Feel Free To Add On......
I hate calling my doctor to ask about every little question which is why I love, love, love this site. These may seem like silly questions but I'm wondering at what point we are allowed to drink with a straw?? I know when I left the hospital they told me to stay away from straws but is this a forever thing? I gave up my daily mountain dews but love to drink even Water with a straw. Also will there ever be a time when you can eat and drink at the same time. I had no clue how much discipline this would require as I've always ate and drank at the same time. I absent mindedly did it post sleeve and ended up spitting up water. Is this just for newly sleeved people or is this something I should prepare to do forever???? Sleeved 2/29- Going Back To Work.... Any Suggestions Or Advice From The Vets
Thanks so much everyone. I went out and purchased a lunch bag, some healthy snacks and some elastic waist skirts. I realized while out today that jeans still don't feel so great although they are baggy so I'll go with the elastic waist for awhile. The sleeve requires so much discipline. I love this site you learn so much.- Please Help
Yes yah to us. I feel so good about the future and do not regret this decision at all. Can't wait to see some major changes- Going Back To Work.... Any Suggestions Or Advice From The Vets
Hey guys I'm going back to work after three weeks off tomorrow. I'm a little nervous about my eating and getting my protein in. Just seems like I have so much more control being at home where I have everything I need. Anyway Vets any good suggestions for going back to work? 3 week sleeved!- Please Help
I agree with previous post although I an newly sleeved 2/29. My body is quick to let me know when I have had to much and it doesn't feel good at all. I sometimes feel like my stomach is not as restrictive as it should be. My co worker was sleeved couple months ago and she had so many problems with food. I don't get nauseous at all and all my mushy food I'm good with. Now if I eat even a little to much it feels awful!! - 2.5 Months Post Op Nausea?
