Aagghhh! Lyme Disease Is Really Interfering With My Daily Routine.
I was diagnosed with Lyme disease a few years ago. A month before my surgery, I had another round of it. Now, it's back again! The fatigue, joint aches, headache and pain is REALLY messing with my head. I know that being 57 pounds lighter, I would be feeling so much better without this going on. I get sick to my stomach too, so taking my medication and eating are becoming more difficult. I'm just so frustrated, I want it gone now! Thanks for listening

Drinking Too Much?
After the first week, I also had the same worries. You'll definitely feel it, if you've pushed your sleeve too far. It's great that you can get your fluids in! Good luck!

Suddenly Nauseous
I'm 3 weeks out and everything has been going great, until tonight. All of a sudden I got a terrible headache and I feel like I might throw up. I take protonics for acid control, but it's not anything new. The nausea is unbearable, help! What's going on?

Pain Again, Like When First Out
Maybe going to the Dr. wouldn't hurt. Eventhough you weren't lifting anything, it's possible to have popped a staple from stretching, maybe reaching for something in the closet. Hope everything goes well and feel better soon!

I'm Still Hungry... And Miserable
I went through the same thing right after my surgery. It's almost like I was grieving for the food I couldn't have. It gets better. One of the things that helped me through it is having supportive people around me. I also chose some tasty protein shake flavors, so I felt like I was indulging. I sometimes also brushed my teeth when I felt like eating something I wasn't supposed to have. The first week was the hardest. I'm on week 3 and now feel a ton better. Hang in there! I hope all goes well for you.

Newbie - Post Op Meds
I'm 3 weeks out and I have to crush my meds too. I take Lithium for depression and it's disgusting. This is what I do: i crush it and dissolve it in a little bit of Water. I hold my nose and swallow it Still holding my nose, I start chewing my Calcium supplement, then I can unplug my nose and it doesn't taste too horrible. My daughter thinks I'm hilarious and loves to watch the routine LOL Good luck!

Curious!
I was also told that alcohol will have a total different effect on you after your surgery as well. It absorbs much quicker and you'll be drunk very quickly. Be safe! I'm only 6 days post surgery and on liquids for two weeks. Good luck with everything!!

Hello Everyone!
Hi there! I'm on the Optifast liquid diet for 2 weeks. This is my 8th day and the hunger feeling has subsided significantly. I did great my first day, but the second and third were the WORST! I feel for you, but hang in there, it gets better. Good luck Michelle
