Carecredit Question

Does anyone know if you can pay off your Care Credit balance early and not have a penalty?

For example, if I finance 5000 over 36 months & then 3 months later I have enough cash elsewhere to pay it all off, would I just be able to pay the remaining balance of the 5000? Or would I owe 6238 (the total amount I would have paid CareCredit over the life of the loan)?

  • My understanding is it's just like a normal credit care. You can pay it off early without any penalty.

  • When I checked on this, I was told I could not pay it off early. I decided to put it on our visa card, pay it off early and use the reward points for a nice vacation.

Thanks IMSKINNY! I got approved for 5000 through glamour credit' date=' but I really want one lump some loan, not 3 different loans.[/quote']

Sweetsusie, do you feel that Glamour Credit is legit?

CareCredit is great. It goes through GE Capital. I applied on line and put in the amount i wanted and hit submit, and immediately came back with my approval code and account number. Since my doctor was not offering any type of a promotion, careCredit gave me 6 month with no interest. No penalty if paid off early.

Apply on their website and approvel is instant.

Sorry that happened:(

Caveat: I haven't read what the previous posters suggested.

Have you tried applying for a loan through your local credit union? I am fully financed and am only paying 2% in comparison to what Carecredit may offer. They also allowed me to consolidate my credit card bills into my financing which was a huge plus.
