I Think I Can Eat Too Easily

Recommended Posts

Are u drinking plenty of Water? I am almost 3 weeks out and I get hungry, although I thought the removal of Grehlin was taking care of hungry.. :/ I have found that if I don't drink enough fluids I get hungry more often. When I wake up in the morning,I require myself to drink 20 ozs of Clear Liquids before I put any food in my mouth,10 more ozs before lunch and at least 10 more ounces before dinner. This keeps me full and works on getting the required amounts of liquid in too.

Its only been a week and I've been eating pureed food today. Had an egg with cheese for breakfast, 3oz lean taco meat with some cheese, two fudge pops, Protein Shakes, bottle Water. And I feel fine. Never really fully full. Just scared to push it. Is this normal only 7 days post opp. I feel like I can keep eating.

Wow, You can really seel how every Dr. plan is different. I am 10 days out tomorrow and just starting full liquids. I am not hungry at all but do lack the energy. So I am excited about starting this phase. I What keeps me there is wanting to give my stomach time to heal from the staple line inside. I am afraid to eat more... all though I must say I am a little jealous. eggs and taco meat w/ cheese sounds yummy.

Make sure you get your liquids and Protein in. For the first 3 weeks I was on a liquid diet. Then 3 more weeks on pureeded food, and then 3 and moist foods. I am working on under eating my sleeve but today, I am eating everything. ;)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
