One of my sleeve sisters kept her fat pants too and would take a picture of her new pants on top of her old pants. Last picture she posted was of her standing in one leg of the fat pants.

I find it amazing that you can look back and call them fat pants with a smile on your face.

Congrats on your success with your sleeve!

What a result! Can I ask did you get a lot of lose skin? I think I will be lucky and not have too much. I'm 220 and hope to be about 140 or 130!!

WOW!!! That is really amazing!

I didn't keep my pants. I passed them on to a friend who was coming down the size scale and she has passed them on since.... Kinda like the traveling pants...lol!

You look fabulous!!! Congratulations!!1

Passing on the fat clothes is a great thing to do! I have gotten rid of EVERYTHING except the jeans and the shirt I am wearing in my initial pics. Speaking of which it's time to do another closet clean out. Poor pathetic closet haha. I have been able to successfully get both legs into one pant leg. So crazy.

Punkypoo, my skin is not that bad, except my stomach. I have had 3 c-sections and carried twins so my stomach is pretty trashed and will need to be repaired but it needed to be fixed when I was fat anyways. My arms don't look bad unless I lift them out and pull down on the skin ha. My thighs and butt are somewhat giggly but really nothing like the people at my support group. And you definitely cannot tell if I am dressed. Even with my stomach being as bad as it is, it hids pretty well. My boobs totally deflated but I was pretty small in that department to begin with :/ I do not exercise so I am sure that if I did the giggly skin would tighten up.

You look fabulous! Our beginning stats and goal are almost the same. I have been glad to say good bye to the size 20's, but I can't imagine ever getting to a size 2.

Great job working your sleeve, thanks for the inspirational post.

I never thought it was possible. I thought I would be lucky to ever fit a size 8 and before I knew it I was in a 6 and it just kept on going ha. Now I am kind of nervous to see what size I will fit once I have my stomach repaired, I measured the flat area under the fat around my c-section scar and it is 3 inches smaller than that skin that will be removed :/

Thanks so much for this post!! You look amazing--congratulations on your achievement!!

I'm really starting to wonder where I'm going to end up size-wise--I, too, have a "cranky" sleeve--LOVE that term for it, BTW--and I don't work out regularly. You are a lot younger than I, but you look like everything's bounced back just wonderfully. You give me hope! :-) Keep us posted, please! Would love to keep up with where you are and how things are going!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
