Something "crunchy" To Snack On...

I am not sleeved yet but have a concern for after I heal from surgery. I really like snacks that are crunchy. I thought celery until I heard how harmful it can be to some of us. I obviously prefer something low calorie, low carb.

Any suggestions?

thanks. :)

The stringy fibers in celery make it really hard to digest and can cause a bezoar or intestinal blockage that could lead to a bowel impaction. Not fun. That was my doc's reasoning.

Try this with won ton wrappers: Spray lightly with canola spray (lightly) and then put a mixture of Splenda and cinnamon and use a strainer and drop on top. Bake at 350 for 6-8 minutes!

I love pita chips or veggies with hummus. Roasted garlic hummus is to die for!

Do you have the nutritional info on them?

Used a cup of freshly grated cheese to make 10 crackers. Each was about 3-4 inches in diameter and was:

43 calories

3g fat

.5 carbs

4g Protein

Wow, thanks, I am definitely going to try this!

Can I have soya crisps 4 weeks out? Struggling to eat today and that sounds dry and good. Surgeon has left little restriction except raw veggies.

I was told Gerber Graduates for toddlers, the crunch then disintegrate once thru hit your tongue, they have cheese puffs, cinnamon crisps and apple crisps, I bought 2 cans today i won't try them for a couple of weeks yet

Ok, I'm only five weeks out today and have lost only 21 lbs is that bad or what?

@guitar819, of course a lot of it depends on how much you have to lose in in the first place, but when's the last time you lost 4 pounds a week? I think that's pretty amazing.

You're right!! I guess I just want to see a bit more coming off. Just having the support on here helps. It also helps to know that you're not alone, and that people really do care. I need the inspiration right now. I look for so many answers on here. Why? Because we are all going through it!! Thank you so much!

Has anyone tried to make wonton wrappers out of anything other than white flour?

Much easier to buy wonton wrappers already made.

I like the Melissa's brand better then the Dynasty. YUM! Love these won ton cupcakes. Had cheeseburger ones last week for lunch, and started on the patty melt ones Saturday and Sunday, and finishing up lasagna ones today!! This girl doesn't need or want bread anymore!
