Don't understand this tanning mindset, especially when you seem to be concerned about your health, exhibited by your desire to lose weight. (Unless your weight loss is totally based on appearance and not health). Tanning beds are one of the worst things you can do. Your skin is your body's largest organ and you will be subjecting it to cancer and skin damage. I'm not judging you, but hopefully giving you some information about tanning beds that maybe you've missed and would like to do more research on.

I'm about 2 months out and I've gone a few times. People will say what they want but bottom line is, I'm not trying to be pale in my wedding dress and I work 2 jobs, 7 days a week so getting to the beach is about hard.

I was at the beach in three weeks. But all my scars were covered. I would suggest keeping them covered for now.

I would suggest never as they are a major cause of skin cancer, which is why they are banned in Australia.

How long should I wait to get in the tanning bed after surgery?

Consider spray tanning vs. tanning bed

When I was in my 20's I went to a tanning salon, loved being tan and loved laying out in the sun. Now, in my 50's, still love being tan but care more about age spots, wrinkles and skin cancer. Since surgery I've been using Jergens self tanner. Love it, everyone at work says I'm glowing and it isnt aging my skin. Think about it, just saying.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
