So What Is Your Resolution?

Recommended Posts

Hahahah, used to be i'd say "loose weight" well now its, get back into the gym at least 3 x per week. I totally have to do this cause I'm so out of shape. I did a stress test last week by treadmill and even though i completed 10 minutes of very strenous walking, I was huffing and puffing like an obese person again! Couldn't believe it! So it's off to the gym for me! How about you???

for me, surprise surprise surprise i want to lose my excess weight. i'm 4 days post op - and have't loss an ounce. so i'm very upset.

my other resolution is to walk more. i have been walking in the house back and forth, for about 5 minutes, then continue to walk some more every few minutes.

not going to gym yet - but this little walking is a startsmile.gif will do more exercise eventually, one day at a time.

i also would like to go and do some volunteer work at for example a hospital. i took an early retirement at 53, now i'm 58. don't go out of the house often cuz i'm ashamed of my appearance, so working on my weight will help my self esteem and confidence. Anyone else feel like that?

My first resolution is to achieve my goal weight by my 1 year anniversary of 2/22/12. My second resolution is to stay within a +/- 3 pound range of my goal weight for the rest of the year. My third resolution is to exercise more - 3 times per week.

No surprise here... but mine is to reach my surgeon's goal!! Any more lost will be a bonus. On top of that I want to maintain my fitness, if not improve it! =]

My first resolution is to work out more and do more strenuous excercises.

My second is to be open minded so I can "see" when I am headed dowm the wrong path and change directions.

My last one is to be happy about my weight loss regardless of how slow or fast it is occurring.

My resolution is to just stay right here where I am, physically and mentally. I'm quite satisfied with it all, and I'm hopeful for the same in the near future. In one year from now I will be a finished product as far as healing goes from my Plastics so I do have that to look forward to.

Set your actions in motion!!!

For me, it's to hit the gym and finally complete a triathlon. I'm 8 months post op and would like to reach my goal of 150lbs. I'm a very slow loser as i've only lost 58lbs in the 8 months. I hope to lose 42 by the end of 2012.

Start using my Kinect Fitness game 3 mornings a week and hit the weights at the gym afterwork to tone up.

I am really into kettlebells now. I'm using a 15 lb. kettlebell to do my daily workouts (I alternate low impact aerobics w/kettlebell exercises -- 30 minutes altogether, 1/2 is aerobics and 1/2 is kettlebell which combines aerobics with strength training). By February I want to be able to comfortably use a 20 lb. kettlebell (I have one and have tried it a time or two, but it really is a bit too much for me to handle w/o tweaking my lower back). I started out with a 10 lb. kettlebell in November so I am definitely making progress, and this is an achievable goal for me!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
