12/01/12

194--- looks like I've settled into the slow & steady stage. Not as exciting as seeing those big losses but I can definitely live with this. At least the scale is moving in the right direction. So here's to celebrating my 1lb loss. YAY!!!!!

12/08/12

Holding steady this week. Not going down, but not going up either.

I weighed myself today, I knew better but I did...

I've spent the last 48 hours in an ER... I have a 6mm ureteral kidney stone lodged in my ureter mid point blocking my right kidney flow.

I will be having surgery hopefully Monday. The pain is out of this world excruciating. :(

So I was 136 and today I'm 148 with no food just unlimited iv fluids.

I'm not even sure where to start at after surgery. I'll be glad the pain will eventually stop.

Great job everyone!! Keep it up <3

I was 178.8 last week and am 178.6 this week. It's been a frustrating week for weight loss for me, despite my best efforts...

Feel better soon ! Just start from where you are at when you arrive home from the hospital. You will no doubt gain Water weight from all the IV fluids but it will come off quickly. Just follow Dr's orders & you will be back as good as before in no time !!

242.4 this morning. Loss of 1.4 lbs. pretty close to a 2 lb loss. Didn't hit the 240s but its my own fault. Slacking on the Water and Vitamins as been really bad with food. Here's to another week! Another fresh week

241 this Saturday. Meaning a loss of 1.4 lbs this week, this 1.4 seems to be a trend with me lol!

May I please join your weekly weigh-in?

We are going to South africa for 3 weeks and staying in hotels and B&B's.I'm sure having to post my weight weekly will be the accountability I need over the holiday season.

I am 181.6 today.

I try so hard not to touch the scale but only once, but it always ends up twice, the first time to see if I've lost any. and another time to make sure my eyes haven't decieved me LOL ANYhoo, I weighed Thursday and today and I am down 4lbs this week! I'll try again next week to make it to next Saturday  It's just so hard, I'm just so happy to see the scale moving down. From 411 to 407!

I messed up and bought a scale the other day...and now am obsessed with looking at the scale too much. Glad I saw this thread! I'll start with when I went to the surgeon's office on 11/15/12, I was 421lbs, I weighed my self Thursday, yesterday and today(LOL ) and I am 414lbs. So from here on out, I'll try to resist and wait until next Saturday....I hope  :D So that is a 7lb loss.

Wow you did amazing !!! Congrats my friend but ya got me giggling thinking back at me saying the same words!! I had surgery in August and not a darn day goes by that I don't run down stairs first thing in the morning and weigh myself!!! lol I have tried but just cant resist... I decided when I started this Saturday weigh in that I would continue my daily weigh in's except only record on Saturdays. One being that the daily weigh ins keep me on track daily. I don't take a 1-2 lb gain during the week serious because come the Saturday it becomes a loss or I stay the same so who cares what happens during the week, but I have to admit it does cause me to proceed with caution if I do gain. So if ya really need to stay off the scale do so but if not u can always use my excuse and just go for it!!! Its very exciting to see numbers go down in such a long time.... I cant blame ya.... keep your eye on the goal my friend!!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
