You are my hero!!! Your video brought tears to my eyes...tears of joy of course! You walking in the rain...I promise you, the next time I think of some weak excuse to not work out, I will think of you in the rain!! Thank you for posting and keep up the great work!!

P.S. Your kids are adorable!!

That's AWESOME! I tried leaving a comment on your blog, but it wouldn't let me. :)

I am still doing my pre-qual requirements. I started at 319 on August 16th and have lost 27 lbs so far. I have no idea how much weight I want to lose, only that I'd like to be a size 8.

At my last weigh in at my Dr's, I lost 6 lbs. I hadn't told my 5 year old son yet, but he gave me a hug when I picked him up from school and he said "Mommy, I can give you bigger hugs now." That, my friend, is more motivating than ANYTHING else. So then I told him I had lost 6 more lbs and he said "WHOOOOHOOO, Way to go Mommy!"

Congratulations on your 1st 100 lbs. I am so very happy for you.

I absolutely *loved* your video!!! Congrats on -100 being gone, SUCH an accomplishment! Way to go!!! thumbs_up.gif

And I'm your newest blog follower...I added your blog to my list of "blogs I read" and look forward to watching your progress!

Your video made me cry. Truly inspirational! Your kids are darling, and you are a wonderful mom for giving them (and yourself) this gift!

Congratulations! The video on your blog is awesome! I am ready to run through a brick wall after watching it! Keep up the good work and keep us updated on your progress. Hopefully I'll be right behind you with my first 100 lbs gone in a few more months.

I loved your blog, and I agree with Longer Life -- you look like you have lost much more than 100 pounds. I love that your kids gave you a tiara. :)

Wow thank you all so much for the comments!! I really appreciate it!! I am so encouraged by others on here at every point of the journey. If you're just starting out or you're at maintenance. We are all somewhere along the path and get strength from each other. It takes courage to do this so we are all warriors!! Thanks again!!

Congrats on your first 100. I understand the motivation. My kids are also a big part of my weight loss.

Yes, you also made me cry. First, so many years ago my husband also walked out on me and I can still bring that feeling up but now it seems as if it happened to my dear friend and not me. Secondly, I cannot tell you how great you look. Not only the weight loss but the look on your face, what a difference, you look happy. By the way your kids are beautiful. I was single for 25 yrs. after the divorce and also used food as my reward for just about anything. I was married in 2000 and for reason contiuned to gain, but this time because I now had someone to cook for. I am 2 mos. out and started at 260 and have lost 40 lbs. I know it would be a whole more if I exercised and after your blog, I am starting tomorrow. I know it works because a couple weeks ago on vacation, we walked all over and I lost 5 lbs that week. You are a huge inspiration, I am sure to so many...

Congrats on your first 100 pounds!!!!! And YAY for "LIVING" not just surviving!!!

You're a great writer, by the way!!
