:faint: I can't believe it! I just can't believe IT! I got the word today that I was approved! I will believe it I guess when I have the letter in hand! Man, It has been a long haul! Soooooo, I am going to see Dr. Carter on August 1st and then my surgery is August 11th! Thank you all for listening to me cry and complain. Somehow it makes it easier to wait when someone is waiting with you! Thanks everyone!:clap2:

Actually, my surgery was postponed because my doctor got sick. He had a blood clot in his lung. So we had to reschedule for Sept 8th. So I am waiting again.... But it will be here before I know it! I will keep everyone up to date. I really appreciate your asking about me!!!! Thank you!

Well fiddlesticks:faint: . Your right it will be here in no time and make all this waiting seem like nothing:nervous .

There is a lady on the introductions forum that is contemplating surgery with Dr. Carter. Her name is Denise H and she would like to hear from others that have seen him. She says in her post she is going to be banded August 21st. Just thought you might want to know.

Hello to everyone I seem to be lost so I will post here. I had the Lap Band done on 8/01/2006 Yes just a few weeks now but I must say I have droped 22 pounds as of today. I dont have any after pic as it is to soon to be after but I do have some before photos but thought what is the sence in posting them when it has not been so long. I look at all the before3 and after shots and just want some time to pass so I to can see the difference. I am new here and dont know my way around yet but will do some reading. OOOOHH yes I am sorry I forgot to tell you all I am Glen and I am happy to be here.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
