How long does the weight loss stall last?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I was sleeved on Oct 8, 2011. I have lost a total of 45 lbs since my pre-op diet. I was so excited seeing the scale go down 3 or 4 lbs at a time. I am now eating regular foods, but only what I can hold because I get full pretty easy. Believe me it doesn't take much to fill me up now. The problem is that for the past two weeks I have not lost any more weight. I don't know if this is normal or if I am doing something wrong.

Has anyone out there had this similar issue?

Yeah, regular food diet will sometimes do that, but give it a week or two. Folllow the plan and get your fluids. The scale will move again. It took three weeks for me.

Same here. I've stalled. I don't stress over it as long as I don't have a plus. lol

But I haven't really been walking or working out either. I'll get on it sooner or later. Just enjoying feeling better.

Good luck!

I had the sleeve done last Thanksgiving. I would plateau for a while then start losing again. Remember your body is adjusting and trying to adjust so keep up the good work and don't give up.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
