Recommended Posts

Succumbed to halloween and coupon savings. Bought 2 bags of snack-size Kit-Kats last night. Ate 5 of them this morning. Sleeve is complaining. Loudly. First time it's complained since surgery. Ugh. Wahhh! etc. Moral support requested. PLEASE!

Like the song says- pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again!

I too succumbed a bit last night- a fun size snickers and a fun size peanut m&ms. It is Halloween, we are human, and I also had worked out for three hours ! We aren't perfect, and (hopefully) we learn from our mistakes.

Don't beat yourself up!

As mentioned above,,you are only human. You will have days like this. Just get back on track and try to walk a bit more, or workout or whatever you do, and don't worry another minute about it. Just make sure to give out ALL the candy to trick or treaters so you won't have any left to eat Halloween night!! biggrin5.gif

Yay, I know!! It is coming off slower and slower, but still going in the right direction. I hardly get on here much anymore. Good to see you doing well also! You are mighty close yourself!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
