I am so nervous had my clearances yesterday cardiologist ..psych..pulmonary...nutritionist...and pcp clearance and 5 years documented weight loss even though I was close to doing gb 16 years ago but was still having children but insurance is well aware had allt he testing then I am so ready now! I am 223 bmi is 39 with hypertension just dx and gerd and borderline diabetic and high cholesteral and severe osteo arthritis in my back and legs so I am praying praying my papers get submitted Monday uhc empire plan Please pray for me!

Sure hope you get clearance for your surgery. I'm slowly dying myself...all my required visits to the various nutritionist, psych counseling and doctors are spread out over the next month. THEN I'll wait for my insurance co. I am sooooo not patient! I might get my surgery in December.....maybe. or not.

Ty all for all your well wishes and prayers I really really need to do this..Awww thats tough over a month spread out! I did it all in one day well 2 with my pcp clearance and referral I wish you all the luck in the world .

I am UHC too.... the good news is it only took one week for them to give me my approval! So..I too am praying for your approval!

Prayer WORKS. Waiting sucks. I am new here and scared of being denied. UHC says I will be contacted by a nurse Wednesday morning. Not sure what requirement I have left. I have BMI of 48. I was told I needed to prove that it has been high for five years...it has. I am getting scared by the blogs and forums but this one seems hopeful. ANYTIME I see the Lord involved, I am all about it! I am happy for you. I think you and everyone is so brave...lots of heart to share. Thanks.
