  3. My absolute favorite is Premier protein. Love it very cold, sometimes adding in decaf coffee
  4. I love me some Splenda. Everything else I've tried has an after taste
  5. I was sleeved November 9, 2011. I'm a carb addict, a slacker. I don't drink enough water, nor do I get my required protein in a day. Some times I feel like my surgery was a joke. I've lost around 75 lbs, bi put feel / know I should have lost more. I'm do discouraged
  6. I'm glad I found this thread. I was sleeved 11/2011 and to date I've lost 75lbs. I feel like I should have lost more. It seems like I can eat too much and I have a carb demon. Any suggestions?
  7. I like unjury flavorless powder. I add it to hot or cold drinks or food. Yesterday I added it to a bowl of grits and the taste of the grits did not change.
  8. Premier protein...absolutely the best. I purchase from SAMs club. Vanilla is great. I sometimes add decaf coffee or fruit. Chocolate is a also good. Iadd coffee to it as well. This is the only protein I've found that does not have an after taste

  10. Hello all. I desperately need to get back on track. I've been at a weightloss stall for about 2 months now. I know it's primarily because of the carb monster. They are such great slider foods andsoooo bad for you. Also, I just joined a gym 2 weeks ago and am going at least 3-4 days per week. This is my first time exercising since having surgery. I am super excited. I know what to do and what to eat, it's just so darn hard to get on and stay on track. I had to admit to myself that I've been sabotaging myself and I dont know why. I've made a new commitment to myself and truly realize that I didn't go through the pain and adjustment of surgery only to go backwards. I'm moving forward to finish what I started in November 2011. Please keep me encouraged. I need you VSGers.

  14. Nothing to stress over....try deli meat (sliced thin)....cheese and maybe flatbread. Peanut butter, crackers, cheese sticks, peanuts, protein drinks, salads.....keep what you can in the fridge at work (perhaps invest in one for your space). This way you will/should always be prepared. You will get it....Blessings2u--bj
  15. in your daily walk......live out the word of God. His word tells us that He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we ARE healed. (not maybe, not might) but ARE healed! walk in it and trust that he knows what's going on with you. If he brought you to this, he will bring you through it! Don't dwell in where you are---live in what you don't see yet---I am here for you and am definitely praying for you. Blessings2u--bj

  19. If you had PMS, bloating & weight gain before surgery, you will still have it after surgery. Relax. It's all a part of the process. In a few months you will have something to compare this against. Blessings2u--BJ
  20. I pray for your strengh and endurance while you go through this. Stay focused and encouraged that this too shall pass. Blessings2u--BJ
  21. My tastebuds were so out of wack for the first month or so, I couldn't stomach protein or sugar free stuff. You are doing great. Rooting for you. Blessings2u--BJ
