Pregnancy Update - Pictures included

Had a pretty amazing little appointment today with the maternal perinatal ob(high risk doc). I hit the fabulous 29lbs gained by their scale, but they admit they got a new scale and it seems to be weighing everyone heavy. At this point, I honestly don't care about the number on the scale, I'm just ready for her to get here.

Tatum is perfect, she's growing, thriving, over 5lbs at this point, her lung/pulmonary function testing was normal today, her echo was spot on normal, and she has a full head of baby hairs ! ! ! Dr. B even said if I were to deliver today, she would perfect. I start the prednisone therapy tomorrow, & will have platelets rechecked in 2 weeks on the 17th. As long as my platelets hit 85K, I'll be able to have an epidural. If my platelets do not respond, then they are going to evaluate giving me a spinal block with a very light amount of anesthesia. If this is not an option, general anesthesia for the csection is the only option for delivery. Overall, we are absolutely fabulous ! ! ! Delivery is November 1st.

I am on restricted activity, and by their defintion, I am supposed to just sit around for the next 25 days until she gets here. Waking induces some pretty strong Braxton Hicks type contractions, and I'm definitely not allowed to do much of anything for the next few weeks that could possibly induce full on labor.

Tiff - I am so happy for you. You look adorable - with Tatum being front and center. I bet your balance is out of whack with her being this close to delivering.

I hope your last month passes quickly and easily. My thoughts and prayers are with you. :)

Tiffy, you look cute and ready for baby to come! Glad for you, and hope your labor and delivery goes without a hitch! Too bad she is not coming in Oct--my birthday is Oct. 16th, which is next Sunday. I could be her Grandma! Gonna be 58. Thanks for sharing your pictures with us here. Tatum will be here before we know it--on my niece's 16th birthday, I might add. Take care of yourself and get the rest you will need for the hospital and baby's arrival. Ronda :D

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
