Hair Loss Finish Line?

Recommended Posts

I am nearly 11 months out and had significant Hair loss from about 3 months on. It has just started to slow down and is almost back to pre-surgery losses over the past couple of weeks. I have to add that I have had extremes in my thryroid levels during this time, which could be to blame for some of the hair loss. I do not have my thyroid gland so I have had a hard time keeping my levels correct during weight loss.

I started losing hair significantly in month four. It was noticeably thinner, courser and drier by month six, but no bald spots. The loss slowed by month seven, and at 11 months I am halfway back to my old thickness, still very dry. I take a Multivitamin, B12, and Iron.

Btw, it was way worse than post partum.

Ok I'm day four n I thought I had no Hair loss but just now I was playing with my hair n about ten or so strands came out at once in hand :0( from underneath. I hope it does not progress. I think it's stress of surgery that's all (I hope).

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
