My progress so far...3 months out

Recommended Posts

You look fantastic!!!!!! It's hard to believe what a huge difference just three months makes!!! I am also a "Jewel of June" -- in the begining I often felt like maybe these big changes I read about others may not happen for me. But it seems that something great happens around the three month mark. Maybe it's the greater comfort with the sleeve itself, settling in to it, coupled with the much more noticeable weight loss.... I just don't know. But what a great feeling!!!! CONGRATULATIONS to you. You look incredible!!!!!

Thank u so much friends!! My weight loss is averaging 10 lbs a month sometimes less and I just felt like I was losing as fast as everyone. But when I put a before and recent picture side by side, I can see the difference. I still have a lot of weight to lose. But it juz reassures me that my sleeve is working. And even if I'm losing more lbs like I was hoping, I still am losing. Thank u everyone. The kind words are so encouraging. I truly appreciate all of u!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
