Ok, I've had 2 big "rolls" of fat - one above my waist (below breasts) and one below my waist. Today I just realized that the roll of fat above my waist is SMALLER! When I look down my front, I used to just see that roll of fat above my waist. Now, I can barely see it (past my breasts that is) and very obviously see the roll of fat below my waist.

Strange I know to be excited to see a roll of fat - but I am! I never thought I would see a difference in my body so quickly! Woo Hoo!!!!

That is great news. I asked my husband this morning if he could tell a difference, and he said yes....a roll on my back is gone. LOL Normally that would hurt my feelings that he noticed I have fat rolls on my back....but it made me happy.

I can tell a difference already in my clothes. The capris I'm wearing today are really lose. Maybe in another week or two I can buy something smaller. woo hoo.

well I can hardly let you two have all the fun. I bought a new belt that I could barely buckle before surgery knowing that I would fit into it just fine in a couple of weeks. yesterday I wore it on the third hole all day and wasn't in the least uncomfortable. I was ordering a pull over as a fundraiser for my kids high school football team and I ordered an XL not a XXXL. I actually tried one on and I got it on, it was tight but I got it on. That's enough for now...I don't want to highjack your thread too much.

Congrats to both of you fircrackers. Can't wait to hear about all of the changes to come.

Nancy I have had a similar experience. What is really interesting to me is that my stomach is usually not what shows weightloss first. I usually (according to my husband) show it in my rearview first. Yesterday he told me he could see it in my shoulder area and I have noticed my t-shirts hang differently now. I will take weightloss however I can get it but to see it in an area that is usually hard for me to lose is great. Thanks for starting the thread!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
