Nausea three months out

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved March 21st and in the last few days I have been experiencing nausea and fatigue. I religiously take my Vitamins and PPI and I am all of a sudden feeling like crap. I drink about 40oz-50oz of Water a day (I know not enough but today I am up to 60oz so far and still feel icky). The weather has been in the high 90's to 102 the last few days and it seems like no matter what, I feel tired and drained even after a nap and full night's sleep. I felt great this morning and then after I ate lunch, it was totally back to gross again. I ate food I have eaten before so I know it wasn't a tolerance thing plus it's been 7 hours since lunch and the feeling hasn't let up even after taking an hour and a half long nap. Has anyone else felt this way this far out from surgery? Any opinions or suggestions welcome. Thanks!!

I was sleeved april 3rd and few weeks ago the same was happening to me. I thought it was the sleeve but I actually had a tummy bug which was doing the rounds in the school I worked it. Couldn't eat, didn't want to eat, constant nausea! Thankfully it passed after a few days. Def the weather is not helping, I also live in a v hot climate, but could you have some kind of tummy bug? Virus?

I have not had this happen to me, thank goodness, and sorry you feel gross! I hate that feeling!!

I have read a lot that people feel this way and when they do, they go to a day of liquids and it seems to help calm their tummy's down. Try that and see if you feel better. Can't hurt!

Kelly :)

Do you still have your gallbladder? Nausea was one of the first signs for me that my gallbladder was going bad. Hope you feel better soon!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
