I survived. I had nausea and other stuff all day yersterday. Drs keep saying it is normal, enen blood !, they gave meds to help and they did so that is why i survived i guess.

Still at the hospital, here until tomorrow late evening, today i will have ice....yaaay !.

The only only thing tha is kepping me from crying is knowing all the reasons i have for doing this are still there....and this will pass. Just me thinking of what they did to me stomach...is scary.

....this will pass.

It will pass, I promise! Think positive thoughts. The first few days can be trying and yes even miserable for some. But it will be worth it. Just take it an hour at a time, a few hours at a time, a day at a time and before you know it you will be feeling better and stronger and will be ready to move into your new life. Saying a prayer for you!

I had surgery Friday and on Saturday I also had nausea but it did pass. I got home yesterday late afternoon and today i am feeling 100% better. Hang in there, it really does get better!

Yes, it will pass! Think about all the good things you read here about the sleeve. The first days were terrible for all of us, but I barely remember them now! In a couple of weeks you'll be absolutely fine. Welcome to the losers' bench anyway!

I had the nausea too--had to stay an extra day. I was sleeved on June 14th . I don't feel sick anymore, but there is always pressure in my chest that feels like I need to burp and can't--I hope you will feel better tomorrow.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
