WOW! I'm wearing a size 6

Hello Everyone,

I love reading the postive post about fitting into goal jeans etc. I started this journey trying to get healthy and off of all my medications in the back of my mind saying wearing a size 10 would be great also. Now here I am off my blood pressure meds., no more diabetes, and no sleep apena it's only been six months...this was exciting. But when I went to the store to buy a pair of jeans (still wearing my size 12) I was in shock when the size 10 was too big, my loving husband gave my a size 6 and said you've worked hard I know this is your size (tear...he's so supportive) and guess what he was right the size 6 jeans fit so I bought them. We later went to 4 different stores and I tried on their size 6 pants and jeans they fit I know crazy but it's taking my mind a long time to catch up to the new me. So to all the future sleevers out there this is truly the best thing you could do for yourself do not let anyone talk you out of having this surgery.

It took me 2 years and 2 denials to finally get me sleeve I'm loving the end results.

Thanks and Take Care

My story is almost identical! I bought a pair of 8's and I couldn't believe when they were too big (out of the dryer). My husband asked me if I had tried a size 6 and I laughed and said no...I don't dream of that size. Now I haven't bought any size 6 but when ever I get the chance I try on size 6 at every store. Congrats to your success and keep us updated!

Oh wow, in six months already a size six?! Go you! That is so amazing.

Very VERY cool! I can't imagine what that feels like. Congrats! Happy Shopping! :)

That is so great! you know what is even BETTER, like there can be a better, when you put those size 6s on right out of the dryer and they are loose!!!! Happened to me this morning!!! i'm freaking out today!!! A size 6 is loose on me! NO FREAKING WAY!!! AND I'm not even at GOAL yet!

Great job on getting off all those meds and that CPAP machine! keep up the great work!

That's an awesome success! I can't even imagine what a 6 must feel like. I just got into 10's. Gosh, how big were those size 12's you were still wearing when you bought the 6! Congratulations to the new you!

That is sooo cool!! I had a similar thing happen to me too -- funny when you get low enough in weight, you don't realize what size you are -- I guess the body dysmorphia continues . . . I bought size 8 pencil skirts to wear to work come this fall (I teach) -- well, when they came in the mail, I decided to try them on and they fit -- who'da thunk?

So happy happy day!! Size 6 -- hooray! :D
