7 Months and Feeling Like a Success

Recommended Posts

Wow, you look fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing photos. I am the same height, and I can't even imagine being that tiny. Congrats on the amazing weight loss!

Same height here and have NEVER, even in high school, been able to wear smaller than a size 7. Some women are just so DAGNABITALL lucky! FANTASTIC job on your success!!!!!!!!!

Okay.. I wanna be you right now.. I can't wait to be tiny!! Very inspirational.. so how much did you lose in total in the 7mths??

55 lbs, but I lost most of it in the first 4 months. These last few months, I've probably only lost 10 lbs, but have gone down several sizes.

It was a tough decision - especially since I revised only 9 months after having my band installed. But once I got it in, and wasn't losing weight (and having such difficulty with fills and restriciton), I started researching other options. When I found the success that everyone had with the sleeve, I was blown away.

I went to MX for both surgeries, but with different doctors. I thought I was crazy paying so much money for surgery in one year, but guess what? I'm SO happy I did it. If I hadn't, I'd still be exactly like I was in my before picture .

Hi there,

You look wonderful!!! I too had surgery with Dr Rod, I am 6 months post and have lost 72 pounds and im very happy as well.

How much weight have you lost with the sleeve??? My weight loss seems to be taking forever!

I lose maybe 2 pounds a week and not sure why, I exercise but just slow weight loss. what are you doing to make the weight come off???

How much can you eat now in one setting???

Lisa

I've lost 55 lbs in 7 months, but most of it came off in the first 4. I'm still getting smaller each month even though I'm not really losing weight. it's odd how that works, but I'm not complaining.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
