Lean cuisine 1/2 for lunch 1/2 at break

Recommended Posts

There are a few in the 210 calorie I can finish like half at lunch and save the rest for later, any else think this is ok for a meal.... I mean the portions are not huge and they have some great tasting ones..... Easy to pack for work..

I think so. I was looking at them the other day and a lot of them have improved as far as variety. Some of them have a higher carb count between 25 to 35, but you are splitting those in half between two meals and men usually can burn off a higher carb count then ladies anyhow. That is "if" you are watching carbs strictly because different things work for different people as far as weight loss. Calorie and fat wise they are really good for the full portion, so splitting it in half is making it exceptionally low :-)

I wouldn't say I am watching them so strickly I just haven't added bread and things like that yet. I have tried small amounts of whole wheat Pasta and I am doing ok with them.. Splitting them is good because I can really only get down about 1/2 a one and I am done...... Cool!

isn't the sodium level high in those meals?

i use to eat a ton of frozen Entrees pre-op, i'm 3 weeks out and don't have a craving for them. the ones i ate prior though, would not be good for me now so i guess it's a blessing lol

I would only use those as a back up. Find a canned / bottled Protein shake you like, some yogurts, cheese sticks, almonds or pistachios and those rotisserie chickens. Throw a bunch of those items in your lunch box and eat what you are in the mood for throughout the day.

Real food is way better than the frozen ones, but in a pinch, they totally work.

Good luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
