I'm thinking it's natural to be concerned about losing the one physical attribute that you like about yourself (Britney, I think this is what you said about liking your hair). I'm 40something, don't have great hair, but feel a bit apprehensive about it too. So, just because it's a concern, doesn't mean she's young and vain (and if you are young, that's ok too! : ). AND....don't tell me that some of you, in addition to simply being healthier, aren't excited about LOOKING good too. You're not vain are you?

With all that said, good health and a long life are most important, so I'm certain Britney will make the best decision for her.

Give her a chance to work this out in her head and on this forum without judging and labeling.

Hi, This was one of my biggest fears. I have very thin and very fine hair to begin with so I had visions of myself as a skin head(G) I was diligent with my Protein took Biotin, B complex and used Nioxin Shampoo and conditioner stage 4 "for visibly thinning colored hair". If I lost any it wasn't noticeable and I am 9 months out now.

My hair started falling out a few weeks ago (around 3 months). I figured it was coming but was worried about cutting it into a better style because the thought of removing more hair on my own seemed crazy! But, I went yesterday and got a more 'shaggy' cut so the layers are shorter. It has seemed to slow down after the first two weeks also. I take my Vitamins each day - think my body is just in shock as some of you have noted. Hoping it will continue to slow down and level off soon. My nutritionist said it's common but she's never seen anyone lose all their hair...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
