Another reason I love the sleeve!

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to share in my joy today. I made it to the gym (go me!) which is no easy feat. I have 2 little ones so the gym means daycare for the littler-little and it also means transporting us there, etc. Not exactly enticing.

BUT>.... I swear, since having the sleeve and losing the weight I have WANTED to work out. WANTED to take walks, be outside, be active. Never before could I say "Gee I feel like going to the gym"... in fact I would create reasons why I couldn't make it there.

Also, I think that me knowing that a simple 30 minute workout results in for SURE weightloss is a very inspriring thing! Before I would work out super hard, blow my "diet" and not lose anything :(

So.... here's to our sleeves! CHEERS!!! lol

Woohoo for working out. I actually volunteered to mow the yard today, totally not something I wanted to do 50 lbs ago ;)

And I am dragging my butt to the gym tomorrow ;)

Ohmygosh! That's such a great point! I don't know how many times I've worked out and then felt STARVING! But my hunger is so much less with the sleeve, so I can work out AND benefit from the extra calorie burn!!!

Congrats! I know the feeling, I had to force myself to go to the gym the other day. I skipped yesterday because of cramps, but your post has inspired me to go today and try and work through the cramps. lol Kudos!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
