On stationary bike while reading your wonderful comments

Recommended Posts

Ok....so every morning I get on my stationary bike and read your comments and it is my prozac for the day ( sometimes I even pedal). JK I am still going slow, but starting good habits. My husband is supportive, but he is tired of hearing about all I learn from here. Keep posting everybody......it helps soooooo much! I thank God everyday for your support. My date with my surgeon is this friday.

Woohoo! Thats' great, Hope. Kudos to your hubby for being supportive. My hubby was uber supportive though a litlte scared and it's made all the difference. He still listens to me go on and on about the Sleeve and losing weight. Just wait till you drag him with you to try on bazillions of clothes :)

I know, what you mean, I love reading this every morning and evening. I am definitely an addict. It wouldn't be so wonderful without the amazing people who post here.

I am with you too... this is a great place for support and encouraging words. Lots of great advise from like minded folk who are going through, or have been in our shoes.

Fair play to your hubby... mine is the same; don't know what I would do without him!! =]

I agree with you- this site is wonderful! So many great stories and advice! I think we are all very lucky to be able to connect on here since so many people just don't get what we are going through.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
