Do you lose the weight uniformly ?

Recommended Posts

When losing the weight after surgery, what part of the body do you lose the weight first, second and third? I would like to hear from all to see where and what stages the weight was lost. Is it done uniformly , stomach, legs, arms or what?

Thank you.

My tops have gone from a 3X to a L but my bottoms have only gone from a 24 to a 20/18. I am losing breast faster than I would like, but the hips and thighs are still here. Maybe its just my body shape.

I seem to lose from the top down. Face, then neck, then arms/chest..etc

Same as when I'd lose weight before the surgery - from the top down.

Hahaha! The fat just melts away, and all you have left is a skin suit that used to fit over the fat ass hanging there....sad butt. However I have hope for filling it up with some fine muscle. When I flex my gluts I have a nice butt, true... however I have yet to be able to hold them flexed forever... so they remain flat most of the time. :^( I expect the butt suit to shrink at least a bit in the future as well.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
