So, I was sleeved on 3/25. I have no problems eating what I should be eating or getting the amount of Protein I should be getting, but this past 4-5 days the scale has not moved. I was wondering if that was normal or if anyone else has experienced this. I am starting to wonder if this surgery was the right decision for me or if my body is just saying what the heck did you do to me? I have lost 15 lbs since surgery, but nothing in the past 4-5 days. Just curious. Thanks!

Yes the 3 wk stall is very normal!! And it's likely that we'll have a lot of stalls throughout our journey. Most stop weighing daily and do every 2 wks or monthly instead.

I am with Kelly on not weighing everyday; once a week should be enough.

It could be Water weight or Constipation causing the stall as well. What are you eating? Still on full fluids?

Congrats on your 15lb loss - that is nothing to wince at :D Hopefully things will get back on track for you soon. HUGS!

Join the club! It is very common. I had one at two weeks.. lost 2 pounds in 4 weeks.... but it is coming off. Just relax and follow directions and you will be ok! Look up stall in the search and find TONS of stories.

You could also be loosing inches instead of weight. My body tends to lose, then stop and shrink, then lose again. Very weird. Have no fear, just keep doing what your doing. Your body will chatch up soon enough

It is so very frustrating I know! I am 4 weeks out this Wednesday and I haven't lost anything for a week. I have been following the guidelines of calories, Protein, carbs, fat, and Water. But nothing.

It makes no since to me how you could be taking in so little, especially after you have stopped taking in over 3000 calories a day and not lose anything.

Stupid old stinky stall!!!

I am allowed to eat mushies currently, but just can't seem to want to put my food in a blender and then eat it. Something about that reminds me of my daughter's baby food so that is definitely not happening. I can't wait for another two weeks so I can have mushies...YAY!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
