Sleeved on Monday- finally I feel some relief!

Hey guys,

I was only suppose to stay in the hospital overnight after surgery, but my blood pressure was very high so I had to stay longer(I've never had blood pressure issues). They let me go home Wednesday afternoon and the only pain I've continuously had was gas pains. I sneezed about 10 minutes ago and I thought I was going to faint lol. I've been attempting to drink more water, and it's kinda hard cause I actually think I may be having hunger pains as well (could it be???) Last night my mom set up a nice spot for me to sit, a heating pad, some warm water to drink and it was like magic, I woke up this morning with no pains (except for gas pains). She also mixed prune juice with warm water and made me drink it and it's helped with the gas alot. I feel like I'm making great progress because I couldn't hold anything down in the hospital. Since Surgery, I've lost 11 lbs and I think most of that is just from the lack of tummy lol. I hope that I can continue to drop the pounds. I hope that you all have a good day :)

That's great that things are improving! And 11lbs lost is a great number! I actually gained 15 lbs. while in the hospital. And aren't moms the best when we're sick or recovering. After I had my surgery my mom stayed with me and I thought no matter how old I am- I always like and now appreciate when my mom takes care of me. Good luck as you continue on this journey!
