I ATE A FEW PIECES OF SKIN TODAY OFF OF FRIED CHICKEN, BAD ME!

Recommended Posts

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME AFTER BEING 2 MONTHS POST OP THAT I ATE SOMETHING THAT WASN'T RIGHT! I AM TRYING NOT TO BEAT MYSELF UP BUT CAN'T HELP THAT IT TASTE GOOD AND I REFUSE TO GO BACK TO OLD HABITS! WELL AT LEAST I DIDN'T EAT THE chicken AND JUST PINCED OFF SOME OF THE SKIN.

Don't beat yourself up over it. A couple peices of chicken skin isn't going to ruin you. At least you are in a position where you can't eat multiple peices of fried chicken AND skin.

But don't feel guilty. Guilt and shame are part of what gets us all in the diet trap to begin with. Forgive yourself and do better.

Been there, done that. When I first started eating chicken, I blended it along with a few peices of chicken skin. It was sooooo good after being on liquids and mushies for so long. I have now find that I really don't care so much for the skin like I use to and actually remove it if we had splurged and bought fried chicken. I have found a lot of the bad things I use to eat, just does not taste as good anymore or I am no longer interested it as much. That meal is over with so just focus on the next and eating healthy again. Remember Protein first!. Hang in there.

Mmmmmm, chicken skin. I often wondered by they didn't deep fry them and sell them like Pork rinds.< /p>

A few skins won't ruin you, unless that is it's a few a day or perhaps a few a week. Just pick up and go from here and remember the savory taste.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
