Officially stepped into Onederland!

I was so happy this morning when I stepped on the scale and after the digital screen did it's little dance for what seemed like FOREVER...there it was. The numbers 199.0. I honestly didn't think I would be as excited as I was but the emotion got the better of me and I did a little naked happy dance right there on the scale.

I started this journey at 251 lbs (highest weight) at 5' 2" on November 18th. That was the day I went to my doctor's office, stepped on the scale and was utterly shocked at what I saw. I immediately sprung into action. I lost 20 lbs prior to surgery and had my sleeve surgery on December 27th.

It has been an interesting journey so far and I'm looking forward to my next goal 150. I wanted to shout it from the roof tops, but knew that since I still have a way to go, this would be just as good.

Hope everyone is well and I'm happy I can share this moment with you!

congratulations!!! what great news, I know what you mean about emotions on the scale over the years I've definitely had them both good and bad... Fortunately the past year and a half they've all been positive. Keep up the good work!!!

Congrats! I giggled at the nakid happy dance :) Cause I have done it too, or the YES! with the arm movement. My next goal, 171, down 100 pounds I have decided I am officially announcing of Facebook for all to know! ( I have been very quiet about the surgery and weight loss )

Congrats!!!!

I am so close but I have a feeling I will start crying when I see the # 1 as the first number of my weight! It has been about 3 or so years since that has happened.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
