Before And After Gastric Sleeve Surgery Photos

Recommended Posts

I got my very first high waisted bikini from Amazon on Monday, so y'all know I had to do a before and after! Can't wait for the beach in September :)

HW: 330

SW: 323

CW: 155

(Sleeve, 18 months out on the 20th, no plastic surgery...yet, lol).

Ok, now I know what my goal 'outfit' is going to be. A bikini is something I've never ever been able to wear. Ever. Now I must get there! You look incredible!

You all look incredible, it's truly an inspiration all the hard work and dedication it's taken all of you to get to where you are! I have my fingers crossed that in 6 months I'll be posting my transformation too! Amazing, you should be proud!

These posts and pics are just truly inspirational, and you all look so much younger after losing the weight!!!

Something that keeps me on the fence is that I like to be able to drink beer socially - which isn't often...maybe like once a week if that.

Also, there are times that I crave some carbonation. I don't drink many sodas, but when I get the craving, I must have a few sips - like I don't have to drink the whole thing. I maybe drink 3 diet sodas a week if that...

Just concerned about this, you guys!

@@JennyJennJen my surgeon allows carbonation at 2 weeks post op. I can't drink beer bc of celiac and I don't like soda but I have tried seltzer post-op and enjoyed it enormously.

Wow!

I loved my beer way more than "once a week if that". I also was killing 3+ 20oz Diet Dews every single day.

I've had neither since my October 2015 sleeve surgery. I've not missed either a single bit.

Don't let something as minor as that sway you from this decision.

I'm so glad I went ahead with it. I've had zero complications or issues. Zero drawbacks. All has been great.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
