Anyone get lightheaded?
I'm four and one half years out. I get dizzy all the time. I ended up in the hospital. Low potassium. Electrolytes out of balance. Iron down. They kept me a week. Even had a blood transfusion. Don't really know what's causing it, doctor doesn't either. I now drink Gatorade. Take iron.

Preop Nerves!
You'll do fine. I remember almost quoting. I now weigh 121 pounds and ALL my health issues are gone. Think of ho healthy you're going to be. All the little things now that you can't do that you'll be able to do. Even small ones. Like in a restaurant being able to set at a booth, not a table.

Share Your Best Story of Someone Noticing Your Weight Loss
I ran into my ex-mother-in-law at Walmart. She didn't recognize me. I had to tell her who I was. She just stood there with a blank look on her face. I hugged her (she has always disliked me, I'm passive aggressive). Anyway, sh e told my ex and he immediately text me to tell me how she didn't recognize me and how great I looked. In your face witch...

You look great. Was that a tummy tuck?

Considering surgery
I would also ask the surgeons staff. I remember putting slimfast, Adkins diet, portion control...

United Healthcare questions...
I have Unitedhealthcare. I've never had any issues with it. I had to go through the appeals process for sleeve surgery though. My bmi wasn't high enough.

Recovering from Abdominoplasty and breast implants
I have anxiety attacks and a horrible fear of gaining the weight back, plus a fear of have I lost to much. I obsess over my weight. So please know you aren't alone. Do you go to counseling? It might help. It's helped me somewhat. I still have bad days, but counselor has helped me with tools to deal with anxiety. That and I have a very understanding husband and bff who talk me through my anxiety attracts.

I think you're doing bad. I think 1 pound a day is unrealistic. But, I'm not a doctor. All of our bodies are different. We lose at different rates. I'm surprised you can eat much after three protein drinks a day. To this day, 3 1/2 years out, I have trouble getting one protein drink and meals down.

Wow. With the exit of so many vets...
Haven't been here in awhile, went into maintenance phase at two years. Kind of got busy. Just started checking back in. Started lossing again six months ago... Got me thinking about this site.

At what point did you notice your weight loss slow down?
I stopped losing after two years. Stayed same for a year. Started losing again.

Three and a half years out. I stayed 140 for about a year. Then all the sudden I started losing again. I'm now at 121. I suppose I'm still on that journey. Though I have my calorie intake some. I think I'm thin enough for 5'6".

Pop Rocks and Coke . . . .
Omg, I needed the laugh today. If it were BEFORE surgery I probably would have peed my pants.
