So I got some samples of Protein Powder and today I decided to try the unflavored Unjury in a yogurt. I want to know which kinds i like prior to surgery because I don't have the money to spend on things I am not going to use.

I was quite surprised by the amount of powder I had to incorporate in this small cup of yogurt. I didn't think it would all mix in. Should I be mixing and entire serving into 6oz of yogurt?

The taste wasn't too bad, it did alter the taste of my yogurt slightly but not so much that it completely sucked. I used a Lemon Stonyfield, perhaps I should have used strawberry or something else since the lemon is pretty subtle.

I just want to make sure I am doing it right. Thanks for any info.

I have another brand of unflavored, and I mix it in a lot of stuff including coffee, mash potatoes and Soup. I just mix it with Water or milk first, then stir it in when the other thing is not tooo hot or the whey curdles. I can't taste it much at all. It worked great in the latte, and the best so far is in Thai Ice tea (I use soy milk) The mash potatoes taste good, but the texture is a little different, who cares, its mash potatoes with a blast of protein! Just experiment, sometimes I use half a scoop, sometimes the whole thing.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
