TOMORROW IS THE DAY

Recommended Posts

:D Finally after all these months of doctor visits and weigh in, the day is almost here. It's seems like forever since I began this journey, but everyday I remembered what the end result would be and this my friends kept me on the right path. I'm not nervous, I am so exicited and can't wait to get this weight off, touch my toes, wear a bra that has one letter and not double, be able to go to a normal department store and beable to buy clothing like everyone else (not go to the plus size part of the store that has nothing cute - it fits on the top and fits on the bottom and hell it's the same the size - imagine that!! I just finally might be able to go to Victoria Secrets and finally buy something sexy  I realize that this isn't the end of the journey and that forever I will need to always focus on my weight and work hard to keep it maintained. I will never ever look back nor regret my decision. DR. FISHER here I come!!! Wish me luck!

Congratulations! I'm happy your day is arriving! If things get hard, just remember your "Sleeve Sisters and Brothers" who have taken this journey before you. We did it and you can too!

I completely agree with your excitment about the things you mentioned, "go to a normal department store and be able to buy clothing like everyone else (not go to the plus size part of the store that has nothing cute - it fits on the top and fits on the bottom and hell it's the same the size - imagine that!! I just finally might be able to go to Victoria Secrets and finally buy something sexy".

I too want these things, but more than that, remember you are lowering your chances of getting type II diabetes, sleep apnea, HBP and even cancer! Take this gift and use it to lengthen and enhance your life and health!

Best wishes and my prayers go out to you!

Congrats! Best of luck to you on your journey! I too look forward to the Victoria Secret day! I have already had a couple of "NORMAL" moments, like the day we were at the mall and I could buy a cute pink sweatshirt at the Disney store right of the rack! I have not been able to do that in 20 years! No more navy blue mens sweatshirts in 2 and 3 xl for me,,, NOW it is Pink or purple and cute!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
