For some reason my reply didn't show up ... take 2

AWESOME. You look amazing!

I mean this in the kindest way possible - but you look 10 years younger than your before picture. I bet your family can hardly keep up with you.

You decide what to do about your goal. No matter what ... keep up the good work. You are doing great. We are really proud of you!

YEAH COOPS! But once again, 50 more lbs? Nah. You don't need to lose that much, do you? You look almost there. I changd my goal a little, probably bc I don't have as much muscle I am smaller than I thought at this weight and just want to go down a lil more. I think you are past 50% of what you needed to lose. You look almost there, unless you are hiding some bootie or somethin.

I agree with you pumpkin, she looks like she's almost there! I am much smaller now than I used to be at this weight 10 years ago, so I thing I will be changing my goal again.:)

Hey everyone...THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH FOR YOUR KIND WORDS AND LOVELY COMMENTS!!You all know exactly where I am coming from... this ain't the easy way out but it gives me a chance of succeeding that I have never done before and living a long, happy and healthy life!!I totally understand now, looking back, why this decision was one of the best of my entire life, because I can now live my life and enjoy it to the max. When that first pic was taken I hated it with a passion, it made me cry and I was completely disgusted with myself... now I look at it with sadness and love... because I know I am the same old me but I am now more able and more confident to do what I longed to do (silly things like like long walks with hubby, kids and dog; go swimming without a panic attach; say NO to food without feeling pressure to eat it!)I am not sure what to do re my goal weight... the only reason I set out to lose 102lb was to get in that 'normal' bmi range... I am 185 now, so I do need to get rid of a fair bit more... I am currently in a size 16-18 (UK), which isn't tiny but getting there... I think a size 12 would probably look nice! Not sure what 136lb would look like on me as I haven't been that weight since I was in school! My surgeon wants me to lose between 70 - 91; so perhaps I should readdress my personal goal... even my hubby is wondering where the rest will come from! I think time will tell.Sometimes, I still see the old me... like so many others here, my head is not in the same place as my body and it is going to take a while for it to catch up... but I am in no huge rush! However, in saying that I would love those saze 12 jeans to see Take That in June...lol...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
