Scheduled the start of my new life!

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I have never posted before but for months now, I have been secretly sitting here reading all your wonderful stories of success that have been such an inspiration for me. I have finally taken that step and scheduled my surgery to start on my own track for success. I have scheduled my surgery for March 3. I can't wait. I am 32 years old and at my initial visit have weighed in at 304lbs, the highest of my life and cannot believe I even told anyone that but for months you all have done more for me than any others have. I feel like I know most of you, lol! The days cannot pass by fast enough and can't wait for the pounds to start coming off. I am thanking you all now for all that you have done for me. You will be hearing alot from me over the next few months, hopefully with all good news. Talk to you soon!

Welcome baby girl and congratz on your surgery date. As the previous poster said it will be here before you know it. If you have any questions I am sure someone here can answer it. Good luck!!! :D

Good job on taking that next step. After surgery you will be amazed at the amount of weight that starts to come off, and at all the other changes that take place as well. Good luck and congrats.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
