CONGRATS BABY GIRL. Go in the OR with a positive attiude and you will do just fine, The first couple of weeks might be rough, but soon you will see a light at the end of the tunnel and you will be overjoyed. I promise.

Please update as soon as you are able. GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS!!!!! :D

I agree with Deb. It may be rough at first but you'll be back to normal soon. I woke up feeling like I had been run over by an 18 wheeler. But it gradually got better. Now, life is great! Enjoy your new life and let us know how you're doing when you're able to.

Yayyyyyy! Congrats :)

Surgery in just over 8 hours. Have to be at the hospital in 6. Can't wait!!!!!

How are you feeling? Do keep us updated. My surgery is Wednesday. Hope you are doing great and have a speedy recovery.

Thanks so much, everyone!!!!

I had a lot of pain in my shoulder from the gas on Monday and Tuesday, so the doctor kept me another night. Was definitely ready to be sprung by the time I left on Wednesday! Still had a lot of pain until yesterday, but some retail therapy (and walking) and getting cozy with my heating pad really helped. Also had some tummy issues, but I'm pretty sure it was the sucralose in the Water ice, I picked up because it stopped when I stopped having them. Not hungry at all, but am anxious to move on from Jello, broth, Water Ice, and Isopuke. Broth mostly tasted like dishwater until I figured out that I should use stock instead and add some spices which I strain out after heating. Still working on getting the spices quite right.

Congrats... thanks for letting us all know how you are feeling....continued healing to you!

Congrats! I got sleeved the day after you and it sounds like we had very similar experiences. I had to stay and extra day because of pain from my diaphragm area and I also had shoulder pain until last night. I did find getting out and about did help last night as far as feeling better, but I really feel sore today from it.
