YEA!! Two Victories in one week

Recommended Posts

Okay so last Wednesday was my weigh in day and when I steped on the scale it said 197.4! HELLO ONEDERLAND I AM HERE TO STAY!!!!! And then yesterday while I was at the gym I was actually running on the treadmill (only for 1 - 1.5 min at a time but I was running) I have never been a runner but now I am determined to do at least a 1/2 marathon when I reach goal.

Oh good for you... I am totally getting the running machine thing... I am in the same boat, even slimmer, I have never been able to run! Now though, something has changed... I can breath as I run and am slowly building my stamina up too... great feeling isn't it!!! =]

Congratulations!!! :D Onderland in and of itself is reason enough to Celebrate, but running a mile and 1/2 is awesome - Congratulations :)

Sorry just realized that the way I wrote that may have been confusing I ment that I was only running for a minute to 1 1/2 minutes at a time not miles but one day I will br running a mile:)

Way to go! I am trying to become a runner, too. It's tough going at first, but feels good. Congrats on Onederland! That's awesome!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
