4 Week Stall?

CALLING IN ALL THE VST STALLERS:

Anybody had a stall for 4 weeks? If so how did you move on from it?

I'm 8 weeks out. Lost 10Kgs (22 pounds) with ease in my 1st 4 weeks. However, the next 4 weeks after going from liquids to mushies - the scale has not moved and is doing my head in.

Okay, so I need to get moving more, which I have been doing anyway and will up the liquid/water intake as much as I can, and monitor Protein intake more carefully. Am just feeling sorry for myself as this feels as though it will never end! I have been more compliant with my Sleeve than I ever was with my band.

Today is a new record for me. No chocolate for 9 weeks. That's never happened before! Eish!!! (Zulu word for WOW!).

My worst fear is that I paid all this money to revise from band to sleeve only to lose 10Kgs and not lose anymore ever... I love love love my Sleeve. Just want to lose lose lose as well.

Hey Carrin,

So you are 8 weeks out now? Stall are normal, I'm afraid, they are a pain in the A*&$ and I have had a few myself!

Best thing to do is try to rid it out... make sure you are drinking plenty of water; that was usually the issue for me!! Remeber that you are still in the early stages yet and your body is adjusting. A lot of peeps on here will suggest that you mix things up a little; perhaps add some more cals, take a check on your carbs, exercise etc!

Have you taken measurements... that is what I focused on when my weight loss stopped... I lost a lot of inches and no weight!!

Oh, and well done re the choc...lol

Keep your chin up and I am sure it will come off again soon

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
